Consider a Studio Session for your next Photoshoot
I know, I know … Florida is a whole photoshoot destination in itself, right? Well, yes…and no. Though we do have lush greens, pretty much year-round sunshine and amazing beaches, there are a lot of variables to manage in coordinating a photo shoot, especially if you have very specific goals in utilizing your photos. Here are a few reasons to consider a studio session:
MULTIPLE LOOKS
Coordinating outfit changes in public is totally doable, but can take up a lot of time within your session and requires some planning. Studios provide complete privacy in your session, prep areas for makeup, hair and outfit changes — with great lighting … and, AIR CONDITIONING!
COMPLETE CONTROL
I love outdoor shoots, specifically for Florida’s beautiful golden hour sunsets, but shooting in a studio eliminates all of the variables that come with the outdoors — inclement or extreme weather, bugs, other patrons/people, traffic and availability. When you book a studio, you just have to schedule your shoot. There’s nothing else to worry about!
From a photographer’s perspective, I am able to control light, shadows, and have greater flexibility to move around in a dedicated shooting space.
SPACE
Space is always a benefit when shooting with multiple people – from teams to family members, feel the freedom to spread out, finish your glam, steam outfits, or get creative during your session.
I also love that parents can worry less about little ones wandering, falling or getting dirty when we’re working together. Keeping everyone contained and engaged is so easy!

There are often multiple spaces, backgrounds, props and lighting that allow us to go wild in terms of what we create. When planning your photoshoot, I’ll give you direction and feedback as you create a storyboard and share inspiration so we can be intentional in leveraging different parts of the studio to achieve your creative goals.
YOU are the magic, so we’ll create amazing images wherever we are, but don’t count out these reasons to consider a studio session for your next shoot. You won’t regret it!
